We are delighted to announce that renowned veterinarian and broadcaster Dr Paul Manktelow will be joining us at Edition Dog Live 2026 as our official veterinary expert.
With more than 20 years of frontline experience working within some of the UK’s busiest animal hospitals, Dr Paul Manktelow has become one of the most recognisable and trusted veterinary voices in British broadcasting. Currently serving as Director of Veterinary Services at Blue Cross, Paul is widely respected for his ability to communicate complex veterinary topics in an accessible, engaging and compassionate way.
Visitors may already recognise Paul from his regular television appearances, including Channel 4’s Crufts coverage, where he returned in 2026 for his seventh consecutive year as resident vet. His broadcasting highlights also include appearances on ITV’s Love Your Weekend with Alan Titchmarsh and This Morning, Channel 4’s Steph’s Packed Lunch and Goodwoof, CBBC’s Junior Vets, BBC3’s Bizarre Animal ER, alongside hosting The Consult Room podcast.
Throughout the weekend at Edition Dog Live, Paul will play an active role across all areas of the event. Visitors will be able to join audience Q&A sessions with Paul, hear him take part in our Dog Wellness Panels, and watch him judging within the ever-popular Fun Dog Show. He will also be sharing practical veterinary advice, professional insight and expert knowledge with visitors throughout the weekend, while helping welcome guests each morning as the doors open.
Edition Dog Live has always placed health, wellbeing, education and responsible dog ownership at the heart of the event, and Paul’s involvement further strengthens that commitment. His combination of clinical expertise, media experience and approachable style makes him a perfect fit for the Edition Dog ethos.
Away from television and veterinary leadership, Paul is also proud dog guardian to Rodney, his lively three-year-old terrier, who has become a familiar face alongside him on screen.
Edition Dog Live 2026 takes place on 17–18 October 2026 in Halls 1 & 2, NAEC Stoneleigh, bringing together dog owners, professionals, experts, displays, activities, shopping, education and wellbeing experiences under one roof.
