Have a Go Scurry: unleash your dog's inner gundog.

Could your dog be a secret gundog? Hosted by Jo at DOG TAPE, our Scurry gives dogs of all breeds and experience levels the chance to put their natural instincts to the test. A scurry is a fun, timed retrieving challenge inspired by traditional gundog work, where dogs follow direction, search for a dummy and bring it back as quickly as they can.

It is a brilliant way to discover abilities you may not have seen before. Your dog might surprise you with their focus, speed, scenting skills or natural desire to retrieve. For experienced gundogs, it is an opportunity to practise those innate skills in an exciting new environment.

No previous gundog training is needed. Come along, have a go and see what your dog can do.

Through gentle guidance and practical activities, you’ll see how instinct, focus, scent, and partnership come together, often in ways that surprise even the most experienced owners.
